Special Devotions will take place today  in
St Michael’s Church Gorey:
2.30 to 4pm.
And in
God’s Cottage Glendalough:
Starting at 1.45pm
1.45. Intercession through the psalms 2.10 Chaplet of Mercy
2.30 Mass of the Divine Mercy
3.00 uniting with the hour of mercy and veneration of the image of the merciful Jesus
3.10 approx. Divine Mercy
manifested in the life of Bl. Carlo Acutis

The Rosary Rally
Will take place this year on
Saturday 10th May at 4pm.
This year we will hold the Rally
outside Kilaveney Church as it was felt that the traffic noise in the town was a deterrent

Canonisation of Blessed
Carlo Acutis
Due to the death of Pope Francis, the canonisation of Blessed Carlo Acutis which was to take place today, 
has now been postponed.

The Stations of the Cross
During Lent we invite you to attend  the Stations of the Cross on
Wednesdays at 7.30pm,

Blessed Carlo Acutis    (1991 -2006)
Blessed Carlo Acutis was born on May 3rd 1991, in London to Italian
 parents. From a young age, he displayed an extraordinary devotion
and attended Mass daily, and developed  a deep love for the Eucharist.
 
On October 10, 2020, he was beatified by Pope Francis, becoming the first millennial to be declared ‘Blessed’ by the Catholic Church. Blessed Carlo Acutis would be celebrating his 33rd birthday this year on May 3rd, had he not died of leukaemia in 2006, at the age of 15.   
 
He used his computer skills and internet savvy to help his family put together an exhibition on Eucharistic miracles that has gone on to be displayed at thousands of parishes on five
 continents.
 The Relics of Blessed Carlo, currently on a tour of Ireland,  will be coming to
Bunclody Parish Pastoral Centre
